Systems Engineer

ANRA Technologies is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Systems Engineer to lead the development and delivery of innovative drone management solutions for the European market. The successful candidate will provide technical contributions to various projects, support product development and ensure systems work together and that each part is engineered correctly. The candidate should possess Aviation Knowledge and software and exceptional analytical thinking abilities. Systems engineering experience gained in aviation or unmanned systems is a plus.

We offer intelligent Machine Learning and AI driven traffic management software capabilities for UAS Traffic Management (UTM) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) operations.

Required Skills

  • Lead a project’s systems engineering tasks as performed by the technical team.
  • Propose and create system models, specifications and diagrams to provide direction to the development teams
  • Participate in internal and external technology discussions and meetings that include customers, industry, standard development organisations, and government entities
  • Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that are interoperable with global aviation standards
  • Be familiar with cloud native stack and build on AWS or other cloud infrastructure using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Serverless
  • Write and review technical proposals
  • Strong expertise in containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Rancher.
  • Share a passion for staying on top of aviation tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies
  • Occasional travel to support projects, speaking engagement, and customer meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in product delivery, technical consulting with a focus on Systems engineering practice.
  • Project Management experience with technical projects in an Agile environment
  • Experience presenting and reviewing results with Senior Management
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a small, fast paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to contribute to a team culture of experimentation and innovation
  • Aviation experience preferred.
  • Drone experience preferred
