Nate Robie Joins Team ANRA
ANRA Technologies welcomes Nate Robie to our global team as a Sr. Program Manager.
With fifteen years of aviation experience both in the military and civilian sectors, Nate Robie will lead implementation for ANRA’s “Mission Manager X” fleet management solution and integration of ANRA’s suite of cutting-edge technology, enhancing airspace situational awareness and operational effectiveness for enterprise and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) customers across the globe.
Prior to ANRA Technologies, Nate Robie founded the Unmanned Systems Group at Dominion Energy and scaled the program across Dominion’s entire 15+ state footprint encompassing all operating segments; Power Generation, Nuclear, Power Delivery, Renewables, and Gas Infrastructure. Nate Robie led federal and state advocacy efforts, directed unmanned operations and changed how critical infrastructure was inspected. Mr. Robie successfully obtained multiple complex operational waivers for Beyond Visual Line-of-Site (BVLOS), most notable, the first approval in the U.S. for remote, autonomous drone-in-a-box operations spanning multiple states controlled from one centralized operations center.
As an Aeronautical Operations Manager at The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, he ensured safe operations of one of the nation’s busiest Part 139 certificated airports with over 1,100 daily flight operations. While serving in U.S. Air Force Special Operations, he directed the actions of uncrewed and crewed attack aircraft for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and execution of close air support.
Nate Robie has a passion for AAM, air traffic management and implementing innovative solutions to improve operations. He was appointed to the FAA Aviation Rule Making Committee for UAS BVLOS operations, the Board of Advisors for Virginia Unmanned Systems at the Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC) and Virginia Advanced Air Mobility Alliance (VAAMA).
