ANRA Technologies is seeking a Testing Team Lead to lead and evolve our Verification & Validation (V&V) function. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role responsible for defining the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for testing across ANRA’s aviation software platforms — including airspace management, mission planning, and UTM/U-space systems.

You will be responsible for leading a team of highly capable individual contributors and scaling the team’s capabilities to support complex, safety-critical systems delivered to enterprise, ANSP, and government customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and manage the V&V team, driving clarity, consistency, and excellence in testing practices
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing methodology and build a testing roadmap to accommodate the company needs
  • Impulse and maintain robust documentation through test management tools and procedures, including traceability against requirements, version control, and systematic test case reviews
  • Ensure traceability and compliance with standards like ED-109A, DO-178C, ISO 27001
  • Define and implement scalable testing frameworks and processes
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment with customer requirements and compliance standards
  • Guide the team in designing and executing functional and non-functional test plans and automating test pipelines
  • Drive continuous monitoring, reporting and optimisation of test executions and defect management to improve release confidence
  • Identify gaps in tools, processes, or skill sets and drive hiring or upskilling
  • Represent test readiness in customer audits and milestone reviews, and present documented evidence of testing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Aerospace, or related field
  • 8+ years in software testing, 3+ years in leadership roles
  • Experience with test case management tools and JIRA
  • Experience with real-time systems, aviation software, or distributed platforms
  • Experience in testing cloud platforms, APIs, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, WS, AMQP, etc.)
  • Understanding of automated testing for web and mobile apps
  • Strong skills with Postman, JMeter, and testing automation frameworks
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • UTM/U-space or ATM testing experience
  • DevOps/cloud-based test infrastructure exposure
  • ISTQB or equivalent certifications
