A Major Step Forward for Urban Air Mobility in Europe
ANRA Technologies recently had the privilege of contributing to an important milestone for European urban air mobility.
On December 1, 2025, at Mobility City in Zaragoza, Spain, we joined our partners for the first demonstration flights of U-SAVE, a project focused on using Urban Supply Aerial Vehicles for emergency response. This marked one of the most ambitious drone operations ever conducted in a European city, and witnessing it take flight was both rewarding and inspiring.
As a proud member of the U-SAVE consortium, ANRA Technologies is providing the U-space services and digital infrastructure that make these complex operations safe, coordinated, and scalable. Our team is supporting pilot campaigns in Spain and Estonia that are testing real medical logistics missions in challenging urban environments. Seeing our technology move from concept to live operations, especially in ways that directly support communities and emergency responders, is exactly why we do this work.
The U-SAVE project is led by ALIA, the Logistics Cluster of Aragón, and AERA, the Aeronautics, Aerospace, and Defense Cluster of Aragón. It brings together an impressive group of collaborators, including SKYCORP Technologies, EHang, and the Estonian Aviation Academy, with support from Mobility City of Fundación Ibercaja. The demonstration event gathered city leaders, industry experts, and innovators who share a common vision for safer, smarter, and more resilient urban mobility.
This milestone represents more than a successful flight. It shows what is possible when advanced aircraft, trusted digital infrastructure, and strong partnerships come together in service of the public good. We are proud to be part of this effort and look forward to the continued progress of U-SAVE as it helps shape the future of emergency response and urban air mobility across Europe.
