Three FAA eIPP Teams Turn to ANRA for Airspace Coordination

ANRA Technologies is proud to support three of the teams selected by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing Integration Pilot Program (eIPP): the Utah Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Announced by the FAA and U.S. Department of Transportation, the eIPP initiative is designed to accelerate the safe integration of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) aircraft into the National Airspace System through public-private partnerships that demonstrate real-world operations and inform future policy and standards. The program builds on lessons learned from earlier initiatives, such as the UAS Integration Pilot Program and the BEYOND Program, and expands scope to include emerging passenger and cargo aircraft such as electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) platforms.

Across the three eIPP projects, ANRA will provide digital airspace management and traffic coordination capabilities that support the safe integration of drones, cargo aircraft, and emerging eVTOL air taxis operating in shared airspace. These services include UTM and AAM traffic management, operational intent coordination, and vertiport and corridor management. By enabling operators and regulators to share flight intent data and maintain common situational awareness, these capabilities help ensure that multiple aircraft can operate safely and efficiently in increasingly complex low-altitude airspace.

Each of the selected projects will demonstrate how new aviation technologies can deliver public benefits such as improved mobility, cargo logistics, emergency response, and increased automation safety while helping regulators develop the frameworks needed for operations at scale.

By participating across multiple regions and operational environments, ANRA is helping build the digital infrastructure required to enable the next generation of aviation in the United States.  These efforts contribute to the broader goal of ensuring that AAM technologies are introduced safely, responsibly, and in ways that provide tangible benefits to communities, transportation systems, and the national aviation ecosystem.
